When it comes to providing staff development to educators, the district must ensure that it is conducted in accordance with certain standards that have been developed with the aim of improving the quality of education within the district. Target Audience: New Hires/Rehires/Current employees

Learning Intentions: Each year all district employees are required to complete Annual Staff Training mandated by the state and district level. Training requirements are specific to each job group and will vary.

Success Criteria: Participants will demonstrate knowledge and skills of each topic covered.

Topics covered include: Americans with Disabilities Act, Bullying, Child Abuse Reporting, Confidentiality of Student Records, Emergency Management, Employee Standards of Conduct, Ethical Behavior & Reporting, Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis, Human Trafficking, Information Security Awareness, Preventing Workplace Harassment, Section 504, SPED Behavior Support, SPED Essential Information, SPED Safety Training, Stop the Bleed,and  Universal Precautions.
